Jori Wood

Owner & Pet Stylist

I'm Jori Wood, the owner and one of the stylists here at Hawkeye's Dog Spa. I'm Fear Free grooming certified and CPR & First Aid certified. I've been surrounded by dogs all my life — I grew up with four large dogs and have always been passionate about animals. My husband and I have two cats, Elara and Mazikeen, and a daughter named Robin.

I started Hawkeye's after realizing my dream salon didn't exist here in Colorado. I was tired of working at salons where both the dogs and I were constantly stressed out. Hawkeye's isn't just any dog grooming salon — it truly is a spa for dogs.

I enjoy working with all breeds and sizes, but I especially love working with dogs who haven't done well at other groomers. I take a holistic approach: one-on-one appointments, top-quality products and equipment, a quiet and clean space, with aromatherapy and music to keep things calm. Quality prep matters to me — I love a perfectly filed nail, a squeaky-clean and fluff-dried coat, and a thorough brush out.

If I have groomed your dog, you and your dog are now part of the family. The industry is always changing, so I'm constantly continuing my education — seminars, expos, workshops. I hope to be a Nationally Certified Master Groomer one day. When I'm not grooming I love being outside: hiking, longboarding, skiing, and foraging — plus cooking, reading, and writing with my husband.

Becca Adams

Professional Pet Stylist

Becca is an expert pet stylist and former salon owner with over 18 years of professional dog grooming experience. After years of running her popular salon in Iowa, she recently made the move to Colorado to bring her passion for pet care to the Rocky Mountain region.

Known for her gentle touch, patient handling, and keen eye for detail, Becca specializes in custom hand-scissoring, breed-standard trims, and comprehensive skin and coat care. Whether she's styling small, intricate breeds like Shih Tzus and Pomeranians or making gentle giants look and feel their absolute best, she treats every dog with the same love and devotion as her own. She is excited to connect with local pet parents and bring top-tier, compassionate grooming services to her new home state!
